TWISTED

Okay, friends. I'm sorry, but this will not be a fun tea-time. Why? I'm angry. Of all the things to happen during the pandemic. Upon George Floyd's arrest for a crime he allegedly committed, Satan then worked through one bad police officer which resulted in Floyd's death, and the minions of hell were let loose to commit crime after crime, upon the businesses of innocent businessmen and women.

How on earth does this bring honor to George Floyd? The answer is…it doesn't! Rioting, rising up in revolt, rampaging, and running amok is pure evil. It accomplishes nothing. It shows the hatred of those who are willing to take money to create havoc in streets that most likely aren't their own.

Neighborhoods they neither live in nor care about. And what of the looting and burning of buildings, including a famous church in D.C.? What of all the graffiti?

Those who do these things are acting like spoiled, undisciplined, violent children. "To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled [degraded, corrupted, besmirched] and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled. Titus 1:15 ~ ESV."

If you happen to be one who has taken part in these actions, may God Almighty forgive you. Because one day He will have vengeance on those who reject His Son, Jesus Christ—those who are anti-Christ. His will is that we love one another and that we love our enemies, "But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you," Matt. 5:44. If you need to protest, do it in a lawful manner. Not blocking streets, burning cars and tearing down what others have built up. Not ruining businesses.

Dear people, come to your senses! Not all police officers are bad. They are here to help us. Repent of your sins. I wonder, how much longer Lord, you will tarry before you bring judgement upon our land. Friends, is the pandemic not enough of a wake up call? Are the swarms of locusts not enough? Earthquakes in diverse places, changes in weather patterns?

Suggested reading: Matthew 24 & 25.

Father, help us love our enemies. Help us see others through your eyes. Help those who live their lives in the victim mode, become victorious through your Son, Jesus Christ. Oh, Lord, that we would be filled with the Fire of your Holy Spirit and empowered to do your will. That we would love others as you love us, and gave yourself as a sacrifice for our sins. Thank you, Jesus, for loving us. In Jesus name, amen.

Blessings ~ Danie Marie
